Our story
Built on Craftsmanship, Not Shortcuts
We're San Gabriel Drywall, a Vallejo-based plaster, drywall, and carpentry crew led by Jose, who treats every wall and ceiling like it's going in his own home. Whether we're resurfacing original lathe-and-plaster in an older house or hanging clean new drywall, the goal is the same: work that holds up and looks incredible when it's done.
We keep estimates accurate, communication open, and job sites clean, because that's what makes a project painless for the people living around it. It's why the clients we've worked with keep calling us back.
Reach out and tell us about your walls, ceilings, or carpentry project — we'll walk the space with you and give you a straight answer on scope and cost.

What customers say
“Jose did work on 2 large size bedrooms repairing and resurfacing the lathe and plaster walls and ceilings. Jose did an amazing job and the rooms look incredible now. He is a master at his craft. He is hardworking and dependable and it was such a pleasure doing business with him. I will definitely use him for any more plaster work and recommend him highly.”
“I was initially cautious because of limited reviews but Jose completed three jobs for me and has done amazing. Quick to respond, open and accessible about the project, accurate estimates, clean, and great work. Highly recommend for any plaster related projects, drywall, and carpentry.”
“Good experience and was quick. I'll be calling back when I need more work done.”
